Key Responsibilities & Achievements: 

  • Troubleshoot automated systems using expertise in microprocessors, PLCs (Allen Bradley: Control Logix, Compact Logix, Guard Logix, SLC), electronics, circuit analysis, sensors, feedback systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

  • Diagnose and resolve operational issues, system failures, and product quality problems; perform RCA, FMEA, HQRI, MTBF & MTTR analysis to increase equipment reliability.

  • Implement improvements in systems, components, and processes through Kaizen, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Install, program, and modify robot controllers, diagnostic parameters, end-of-arm tooling, and conveyors for robotic applications.

  • Program and optimize FANUC M900i (6-axis) and ABB IRB 4600/260 robots, including path motions, teaching, simulation, and testing to maximize efficiency, safety, and quality.

  • Maintain electromechanical equipment and ensure adherence to TPM concepts (Autonomous, Planned, Conditional Maintenance), GMP, and industry safety regulations.

  • Manage preventive maintenance planning and spare parts inventory using IBM-MAXIMO, while reducing downtime in the tire assembling shop.

  • Perform HMI modifications (AB-PanelView 1500), firmware updates, and backup of automation systems.

  • Update and parameterize Servo, VFD & DC drives (PowerFlex, Kinetix, Unidrive, Siemens S120, Schneider MV Drives) as per process requirements.

  • Coordinate with IT teams for Factory LAN, CAN Network, IBM Servers, and Asset Center implementation (Level-2 confidential).

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for engineering change management, product quality improvements, and process optimization.

  • Develop and implement software/program logic for controlling and monitoring mechanical systems.

  • Prepare technical documentation, reports, and training manuals for operators and technicians.

  • Train personnel on the proper installation, operation, and maintenance of robots and automated systems while ensuring compliance with PPE and safety standards.
