Project: Construction of 125 km rail line and railway bridges from Rishikesh to Karnaprayag
- Support EHS In-charge operations in his role.
- Ensure implementation of EHS policies, guidelines, and procedures at site.
- Provide EHS inputs in approving heavy lift & standard lifting plans for normal and critical lifts on site.
- Support the EHS monitoring function as per project EHS Plan.
- Prepare and update EHS legal resister and ensure all EHS statutory and regulatory requirements compiled at site.
- Co-ordinate and attend EHS committee meetings.
- Prepare EHS training plan and EHS presentations for specific tasks.
- Responsible and accountable for the performance of site EHS Supervisor within my area.
- Organize and deliver EHS training and mock drill within my area.
- Co-ordinate the Risk assessment exercise in my respective area along with engineer In-charge in preparation of safe work methods for all activities.
- Appraise the status to EHS In-charge for updating project risk management register.
- Prepare and sent monthly EHS Performance report in the prescribed format to HQ.
- Actively propagate EHS in my workplace by hoardings, awareness posters and awareness sessions.
- Organize and lead EHS promotional programs at workplace.
- Make the schedule and do the monthly inspections of all type equipment, machinery, power tools and issue GREEN CARDS for fit equipments and RED CARDS for unfit equipments in my respective area.
- Monthly electrical inspections and fire extinguisher inspections shall be conducted. Conduct work permit audits to verify the compliance against stipulated controls mentioned in work permit o daily basis.
- Ensure non-conformities / observations received via EHS Internal Audits, Customer and external agency has closed by taking appropriate corrective actions.
- Generate an awareness of EHS as an integral part of good management.
- Report all incident and conduct investigation of minor incident and support incident investigation of major incidents.
